PCEC GOALS

The purpose of the Peninsula Connections for Early Childhood network is to build relationships and partnerships with people who provide services for young children and their families on the Saanich Peninsula, to strengthen our connections and community involvement, and to coordinate collaborative efforts so that, together, we can:

·          raise community awareness of the importance of the early years.

·          promote the healthy growth and development of all young children.

·          foster early literacy development and initiatives.

·          support parents/guardians with information and resources.

·          pool resources, interpret local information, and transform early childhood development research into advocacy, support, and action within the Peninsula community.
